Born in London. Moved around a lot growing up in UK, Malta & Hong Kong. I have lived in Byron Shire, Australia since 1999. Most of my work involves a play on words and most of my subjects are animals.
I like to choose animals that have an edge about them, animals that are representative of an outsider. From this perspective, I make sense of my own internal dialogue and the irony of the human condition.
I have been involved with fundraisers for conservation projects collaborating with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors in Australia as well as ‘Let Elephants Be Elephants’ (LEBE) in Singapore working to stop the ivory trade, Animal welfare charities in London, Portugal & Australia. More recently I embarked on a project, ‘We Art Love’, to help indigenous kids on the Island of Boracay in The Philippines raise funds for Health, Nutrition & Education. 100% of proceeds from prints bought from weartlove.com support the children of The Ati Tribe
